Textbook
Precalculus: Mathematics for Calculus, 7th Edition by Redlin, Stewart and Watson. Please make sure that you have the correct edition as the numbering of problems varies between editions. The book is available at the bookstore, and directly from the publisher. This class will not require WebAssign.
Office Hours
Monday 4:15-5:15 and Friday 1:30-2:30 in 408 Math. If you can't make these times, you can e-mail me to arrange a meeting.

Getting Help
In addition to office hours, you can also get help in the Math Help Room in 333 Milbank ( Schedule | Map ). Some other tutoring options are listed here.
Homework
Homework assignments are due on Tuesdays by the end of class. You can either give them to me in class or place them in the homework box on the fourth floor of the Mathematics building. Late homework will not be accepted. However, your lowest two homework scores will be dropped. Grades will be posted on CourseWorks.
Exams
There will be two midterm exams and a final exam. The final exam will be held from 9am-noon on Tuesday, May 8, in the usual room.
Quizzes
Every Thursday except for the first week of classes and the weeks of the midterms, there will be a short (15 minute or so) quiz on the material covered the previous week. The lowest three quiz scores will be dropped.
